Why Octant™ was created

Octant™ grew from years of working with thoughtful, capable people who were already trying. People who: understood themselves deeply, cared about others, carried a lot internally and were often much harder on themselves than they were on anyone else.

Many did not need more pressure, information or self-improvement. They needed small moments to: pause, notice what was happening and reconnect with themselves differently to evolve.

Over time, simple nervous-system-aware practices began helping people feel: more grounded, more aware, more compassionate towards themselves and more able to move forward realistically.

And those shifts rarely stayed with just the individual. People often noticed changes in: how they communicated, how they responded under pressure, how present they felt at home, how they showed up at work and how they treated both themselves and others.

When we understand what’s actually happening for us as humans — rather than simply criticising ourselves for it — it becomes easier to make small, realistic changes that positively affect both ourselves and the people around us.

Most of these practices take only around 1–2% of a person’s waking day. And yet that small pause often changed far more than people expected.

Octant™ was created to bring these tools beyond the therapy and coaching room — into everyday life.
